چکیده
Answer: 683 A 55-year-old male patient was admitted to an emergency department of a secondary care hospital with left forearm pain and numbness of fingers lasting for 6 h. He did not state any kind of chest pain and has not had any cardiac disease history and risk factors except smoking for 30 years. Electrocardiography (ECG) demonstrated negative P waves and ST-segment elevation in inferior leads and minimal ST-segment depression in D1 and aVL, and heart rate was 101 bpm (Fig. 1). His cardiac examination and vital signs were normal. He was transported to our hospital for primary percutaneous coronary intervention with the diagnosis of inferior myocardial infarction (MI). Which of the following is not included in your first differential diagnosis in light of the clinical and electrocardiographic findings?

Effect of six weeks low intensity interval training on expression of atrial and brain natriuretic peptide genes following myocardial infarction in rat
Background: Myocardial infarction (MI) is the irreversible cell death caused by ischemia in parts of myocardium. Atrial and Brain natriuretic peptides (ANP and BNP) are known as strong markers of myocardial infarction. This study was aimed to evaluate the effect of six weeks low intensity interval training on ANP and BNP genes expression in rats following myocardial infarction. Materials and m...
متن کاملEffet of low-dose Aspirin on mortality of Acute myocardial Infarction
SUMMARY Between Aug. 1982 and March 1984, In a prospective, randomized trial approximately 24 hours after the onset of acute myocardial, infarction (MI), the influence of Low dose aspirin (120-150 mg/day, just during inhospital phase), on inhospital and post- hospital mortality rate was studied in 62 patients, and compared with control group. The two groups were comparable with regard to age,...
متن کاملAtrial Repolarization Waves (Ta) Mimicking Inferior Wall ST Segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction in a Patient with Ectopic Atrial Rhythm
We present a case of atrial repolarization waves from an ectopic atrial rhythm mimicking inferior ST segment elevation myocardial infarction in a 78-year-old male patient who presented with left sided chest wall and shoulder pain. His ischemic workup was negative, and the ST elevations completely resolved upon the resumption of sinus rhythm before discharge.
متن کاملRight atrial myxoma. Unusual post-operative complications.
This case report concerns a patient with right atrial myxoma who had few features to suggest this diagnosis before cardiac catheterization. Fifteen days after successful removal of the tumor she developed an acute anterior myocardial infarction. Her convalescence from this was complicated by various rhythm disturbances including left atrial rhythm and ventricular tachyarrhythmias. Possible unde...
متن کاملClinical Significance of P Wave Dispersion in Prediction of Atrial Fibrillation in Patients with Acute Myocardial Infarction
Background: P wave dispersion (PWD) is defined as the difference between the maximum P wave duration (Pmax) and the minimum P wave duration (Pmin) in 12-leads of the surface electrocardiography. The aim of this study was to evaluate the values of PWD during atrial fibrillation (AF) after acute myocardial infarction (AMI). Methods: We prospectively evaluated atrial rhythms of 350 patients (251 m...
